In reply to shauna evans. Thanks for sharing your concern. CEAI is not pushing anyone to break the law or ẗeach their faith. What they try to do is show teachers the way they are legally allowed to demonstrate their faith. (Many people falsely assume that your faith must be checked at the door as a teacher.) The question was: “What has been your biggest challenge as a Christian teacher?” I would have to say that in a public school the challenges to a christian teacher would be the same as to a secular teacher. Teachers are facing criticism from the public, lack of funding from their state and low teacher salaries. I am quite concerned that there would be a Christian Education Union that would be pushing their religious views upon children in a public school setting. We know that students can pray and read their bibles anywhere in school as long as they are not disrupting courses or teacher lectures. However, I teach in a large urban school and I have students from every religious persuasion. If your organization is pushing teachers to teach religion in schools, then they are misguided because it would be a state-sponsored religion which would be against the law.

Warm Greetings,my name is Grace and I run a school for underprivileged girls in Hyderabad ,Telangana State.This school is 9 years old.Well I live in a village where the locals have taken every precaution not to allow a church for the past 50 years and more.When I came to this village they asked me if I was a christian,I told them I was a Christian,Then they asked me if I WAS GOING TO PREACH AND CONVERT THE GIRLS TO BE CHRISTIANS..I assured them that I educate girls only.Well God gave me intelligence to deal with them I decided that my job would be WORD in Action.$ batches of girls have passed out 10th grade and are in college.The 36 parables are my inspiration.The Proverbs are my Text books.The Psalms are my guidelines. No one has ever blamed me that I preach Christ.He lives in me and manifests through me I am only his vessel .Please pray for this drop in the mighty ocean,Regards…..Grace
