I have taught at both the high school and middle school levels and have found that videos can be a helpful tool, especially during the pandemic. I’ve heard the advice before of ‘not fighting the youtube generation,’ and I feel it is appropriate for this digital age generation. The biggest thing is to make sure to keep your kids’ attention and that the video is appropriate for what it is you are teaching.
