I found this website by searching via Google. I am a Christian Math teacher – High School- from Philadelphia, Pa. I teach at an all girls Catholic High School, but I am not a Catholic. I am also the only African American teacher at the school. I am a man.
I am really struggling with how to balance time with school work, in and out of the classroom and how to function in my local church.
As you know, school work does not end after the bell rings to end school.

Thank you SO much! I’ve been in public education for 14 years and have felt discouraged by the junk coming in. I was offered a job at a Christian School but turned it down yesterday. I didn’t feel peace about leaving my current position but soon after turning it down felt like I made the wrong decision. I was feeling very double minded and unsure how God was going to use me in public school setting. Thank you for giving me hope again. After all, God is with me wherever I go! I pray I shine brightly and push the darkness back.
